[2/18, 8:12 PM] Mr Waccaff Tech World: Every powerful software is composed of text documents which integrates into the text file. From word to sophisticated programs
[2/18, 8:13 PM] Mr Waccaff Tech World: Text documents are the basic Code component of any document with two parts the file name and the file extension
[2/18, 8:14 PM] Mr Waccaff Tech World: The easiest way to assess THIS is through text editors and on all windows system we have the notepad
[2/18, 8:15 PM] Mr Waccaff Tech World: For example a music might be named loveme.mp3
The first part before the dot is the file name(loveme) while the other part(mp3) is the file extension
[2/18, 8:16 PM] Mr Waccaff Tech World: The file extension is what software on phones and computers used to determine what is to be used to run or decode the file.

Open Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization. Now, click on Folder Options or File Explorer Option, as it is now called > View tab. In this tab, under Advanced Settings, you will see the option Hide extensions for known file types. Uncheck this option and click on Apply and OK.
